The story of Morgan’s Wonderland began with Gordon Hartman, a San Antonio businessman and philanthropist, inspired by his daughter, Morgan, who has special needs. Seeing how few recreational spaces truly welcomed children with disabilities, Gordon took action to change that. His vision was simple but powerful: build a place where all children—regardless of ability—could play side by side. That dream became a reality in 2010 with the grand opening of Morgan’s Wonderland, a groundbreaking theme park centered on inclusion.
Since then, Morgan’s Wonderland has opened its gates to families worldwide and grown to include Morgan’s Inspiration Island—a fully accessible splash park designed for every guest to enjoy.
